The Light of Christ is the divine energy, power, or influence that proceeds from God through Christ and gives life and light to all things. The Light of Christ influences people for good and prepares them to receive the Holy Ghost. One manifestation of the Light of Christ is what we call a conscience.
The light of Christ can be seen everywhere. We just have to look around at the beauty of what is just outside out windows to see it. The Light of Christ can be seen in people and just the environment around us. I have seen the Light of Christ in many of my friends, members of the Church world wide, in the leaders of the Church, and even in my surroundings. Doctrine and Covenants 88:7 reads, " Which truth shineth. This is the light of Christ. As also he is in the sun, and the light of the sun, and the power thereof by which it was made."
Having the Light of Christ is not only an outward thing it also is something held within. I am continually working to keep the Light of Christ in my mind and in my heart. I hope that it will become so much a part of me, that others can see it. Or, at least, that is my goal.
